November 2005 Establishes niwango inc.(capital of 90 million yen), with its main mission of planning, producing and distributing various contents and information services to the market using mobile-phone e-mails and other mediums.

October 2005 Absorbs Composite Inc. through merger, with the aim of accelerating the transformation of mobile-phone contents into an independent media, and enhancing corporate activities by making the planning, development, and administration of contents more prompt and efficient.

September 2005 Excluded ENTIS Co., Ltd. from the list of consolidated subsidiaries, due to the reduction of ratio of shares held in ENTIS Co., Ltd. This is a result of ENTIS Co., LTD.'s decision to increase its capital through third party allocation.

June 2003 The online-service for the 'Minnano-Golf 2' network-compatible game software for "Playstation 2", a Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. product, was officially launched. DWANGO was responsible for developing the operating system for the service.

June 2002 Provides DWANGO's original network-game technologies "DirectEngine" and "NetEngine" to Nintendo Co., Ltd. for their "Nintendo Game Cube" when it became network compatible.

April, May 2000 Forms increased capital participation with allocation of stocks to a third party with Intel Pacific Inc., KONAMI CORPORATION and NTT-ME Information Distribution Channel (present NTT-Resonant Inc.). Capital is increased to 257.5 million yen.

November 1999 Launches the i-mode game contents Web site "DWANGO Kamone". Commences the distribution of the fishing simulation game "Tsuri-baka Kibun" as the first game.

March 1999 Launches the official operation service of the network mahjong game "Jong Plugged" which was the main content of "Party Crew," an Internet game Web site introduced by Sony Communication Network Corporation. DWANGO was responsible for planning and developing the system.

January 1999 Launches "SEGA RALLY 2," the first network communication title for Dreamcast, developed by SEGA ENTERPRISES, Ltd. (present SEGA CORPORATION). DWANGO's communication server system is adopted.

October 1998 Entrusted by Microsoft Corporation of the U.S. to provide technical support to third parties in Japan for SEGA Dreamcast custom customized Windows CE for SEGA Dreamcast.
